The Azure Compute team is looking for an experienced Principal Program Manager who is excited to architect the future of our platform and solutions, optimizing for the ecosystem of Azure partners servicing our joint customers! As a member of our high-energy team, you will experience our customer-centric and action-oriented culture in this role. Our extended team drives the majority of Azure consumed revenue and the customer and partner adoption, and is responsible for platform capabilities underpinning Azure IaaS, PaaS, and many management offerings (for example, Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure Resource Manager, Big Compute, Migration Center, Azure Governance, and more). This brand new role offers an opportunity to apply and grow one's design and architecture skills, as well as customer-centric product development frameworks. In building what does not exist today to substantially grow the business through partners and our joint customers, this role will have strong influence on areas of investment

Key deliverables of this role include defining and building the roadmap of platform tools for our services partners, weaving together the platform, the business, and the technical needs of the audience. Starting with end-to-end scenarios and macro themes over multiple horizons, distilling to system components, providing design recommendations, and near-term implementation priorities, the Principal Program Manager will lead as a subject matter expert, both on the cloud platform and on audience insights. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of industry experience in Program Management, Product Management, Business Management, Business Development, Consulting, Product Planning, Architecture, or other relevant field Bachelor's degree or higher, OR equivalent industry experience Highly Desired: Experience in defining/designing/shipping products/services Deep technical skills in cloud infrastructure, management and governance, as well as system architecture Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, strong cross-boundary collaborator Experience in enterprise cloud scenarios and/or service provider scenarios,
