The Core Services Engineering and Operations (CSEO) group is leading the company's Digital Transformation journey. We see across the entire company – building scalable, end-to-end cloud services for our future business needs. CSEO delivers the services, applications, and websites that every Microsoft employee uses. We started our migration from on-premise datacenters to the Azure cloud in 2014 and are now 95% migrated. We have co-developed Azure optimization tools with Cloud and AI to help us better manage our Azure subscriptions and consumption. This toolset offers a combination of consumption and optimization insights. We also help develop cloud engineering processes to examine the total cost of cloud resources and remediate any underutilized assets. The recently formed Fundamentals team has an exciting opportunity for a high energy Principal Program Manager who is a leader, passionate about creating compelling experiences, and defining changes in our engineering systems and processes

• Formulate the vision for our next generation of cloud optimization tools, build the roadmap and success metrics. Be able to represent the vision in terms of complete scenarios that can be delivered in an agile manner. • Build listening systems across our customer base and within our services to ensure we are data driven and our service is responding quickly to the changing needs of the business and the engineering teams. • Build deep knowledge on the architectural patterns for the various service scenarios so that you can influence our design and engineering practices • Be able to tell Microsoft's
• 8+ years in program management with demonstrated experience releasing services • Working knowledge of Azure services and resource types • Experience building and reviewing quality user scenarios, acceptance criteria for features, and measurement of scenario outcomes • Ability to build good framework and models for prioritization, planning and execution for large projects in collaboration with stakeholders • Passion and demonstrated ability for working cross group and cross organization • Experience working in Azure Dev Ops leveraging its capabilities to run large scale development and release
