As a PR Manager for Amazon Devices and Alexa, you will work teams across Amazon to imagine, develop and execute PR communications programs related to industry events focused on Alexa, Robotics, Machine Learning, AI, and more. The right candidate will have a proven track record of building and executing PR strategies for major industry events and announcements, with experience building national media contacts and relationships, and the ability to establish communication programs that resonate with key audiences. She/he will be able to work fast, quickly take ownership of major PR campaigns, have the ability to influence and support communications colleagues around the world, and to work with broad stakeholder groups from all levels of the organization. · Bachelor’s degree · 7+ years public relations experience, with some of that spent on technology businesses · An understanding and ability to tell stories about AI, Machine Learning, and other technologies · An ability to work across and build relationships with multiple teams · Excellent written and verbal communication· Experience executing PR strategies for major events or companies · An entrepreneurial spirit, including ability to work independently and autonomously · Outstanding attention to detail and bias for action, as well as a deep understanding of technology, and ability to communicate
