Microsoft Teams is a new collaborative communication product that brings together the complete power of Office 365 to empower teams to do more. As the foundation for teamwork and intelligent communications, Teams serves as a highly extensible hub and conversational canvas for first and third-party integrations, called 'apps'. Our team's mission is to deliver the developer platform on which these apps can build, using a set of broad, flexible, and easy-to-integrate APIs, SDKs, tools, and experiences. On this team, you'll work on creating new Platform and Extensibility opportunities for Microsoft Teams developers. Define and communicate end user scenarios using app integrations Drive technical discussions to deliver APIs, development tools, content, and cross-platform SDKs needed to develop collaboration solutions integrated with Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 experiences Define business and customer requirements, and translate them into efficient, crisp functional specifications, often by interacting directly with customers and partners Participate and drive architecture and design reviews for selected components Drive execution and demonstrate end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-group projects
Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in program management or product management in software companies Preferred Qualifications Bachelor and/or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent Previous experience completing complete software product development cycle for commercial software product offering Previous experience with web service design, mobile application development, cloud solution architectures, developer technologies, and the operational considerations of running mission critical services worldwide
