GENERAL SUMMARY: Amazon is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Associate Program Manager to support the Transportation Execution Startup Team for the continued expansion of our North American Sort Center and Delivery Station networks. Successful candidates will be natural self-starters who will drive a multi-year and multi-million dollar capital procurement forecast to drive reduced unit pricing through economies of scale and network level negotiation. The PM will support helping other teams deliver capacity on time. The PM will be detail oriented and agile with the ability to change plans and keep driving. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams in order to be successful. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: · Update and maintain the Project Input Tracker document which tracks the status of all critical inputs for active funding requests · Support the maintenance and audit of standard item lists that communicate the unit price,
· A bachelor’s degree in an engineering, business, or finance related field or 5 years program management experience or related field or 2+ years of experience within Amazon · Experience with detailed documentation and analytical thinking · Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams · Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment · Superior communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams to meet organizational needs · Intermediate
