The AWS Events Technology team is seeking an experienced Technology Operations Manager based in Seattle to lead a team of Product Managers and Engineers to deliver successful deployments of AWS and third party events technology used for re:Invent, re:Inforce, and Global Summits. This team is responsible for delivering a complete solution for the AWS Events team including: software, hardware, networking, and devices. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing team with high visibility both with customers and internal executives. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · 5+ years of relevant work experience in operations management · 5+ years of relevant work experience in program and project management · Experience executing long term strategic roadmaps and handle demanding priorities · Persuasive communication, both verbal and written · Data and metrics driven focus, both qualitative and quantitative · Strong analytical background, comfortable in ambiguous situations · Ability to scope and execute projects to strict deadlines.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
