We have a unique opportunity for a Program Manager within the AI Platform Capacity Planning and Operations team. If you can herd cats and juggle deadlines while keeping track of the forest and the trees, we want to talk to you! We need an intellectual chameleon, tactical and strategic at the right times, able to effectively engage with engineering teams, finance, operations teams, and leadership. This role navigates between strategic organizational and One Microsoft company initiatives across the multiple teams and execution of operational capacity management tasks. This is an opportunity to drive millions of dollars in savings as well as help drive innovation across Microsoft. You will learn something new, probably every day, while working at a scale operated by only a few other organizations in the world.

Participate in and coordinate strategic initiatives as part of fiscal year planning for Azure and Cosmos Capacity Operationalize forecast and budget for Azure and Cosmos Capacity. Define operational impacts to Azure forecast Work across multiple organizations to coordinate complex migrations to Azure to support server decommissions. Drive value by analyzing capacity utilization, identifying efficiency opportunities and helping AI Platform understand the value of services/environments relative to cost (ROI analysis) Participate and assist in identifying strategic plans for GPUs across Microsoft
Experience with or understanding of: Large-scale distributed systems and services Source/version control systems Microsoft capacity types (Azure, AP, and Cosmos) Proven experience in structuring and executing complex projects Excellent communication, collaboration and executive presentation abilities Understanding of large scale platforms, distributed services, hardware, and data centers Ability to build successful partnerships across diverse disciplines Data analysis skills, including the ability to use Excel, PowerBI and basic SQL queries to provide decision support Minimum 5 years of related
