PC Peripherals team Manager, Vendor Management
Amazon.com is looking for a talented, driven and experienced Manager, Vendor Management to join the PC Peripherals team. The Peripherals business is one of the growth categories in the PC GL and involves partnering with several high profile manufacturers in the tech industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for selection expansion including identifying potential brand and product business opportunities, building direct relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, managing vendor setup and new item setup processes, working with suppliers to build comprehensive selection, setting prices, developing collaborative marketing and promotions, driving sales and margin improvements. This position will also be responsible for managing a team of vendor managers. The candidate should have experience analyzing new business opportunities, building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple
· Bachelor’s degree · 5 years’ senior level experience in retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven history of delivering results · 5 years’ experience hiring and managing a team · Experience with business analysis and expertise in Excel · Experience negotiating and closing complex business deals· MBA with 6+ years relevant business experience · Track record of results, setting strategy, and running a large volume and high profile business · Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development · Highly polished communication
