We are looking for an experienced Head of Product Management to join the team responsible for improving the shopping experience in Consumer Electronics (www.amazon.com/electronics). Viewed as the growth engine for the business, you will lead a team of product managers responsible for CX innovation with dedicated UX and engineering resources. On our team, we are entrepreneurial and work in a highly collaborative environment that feels more startup than big company. As Head of Product Management, you will develop the vision and success criteria to optimize end-to-end customer journeys, solve a variety of technical challenges, and coach a team of talented product managers. Your team will invent, design, develop, and deploy new features to guide shoppers through the purchase funnel for complex categories. • 8+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related product or program management, with focus on product development and innovation. • Experience distilling customer insights into indicated actions • Experience working within large matrixed organizations across multiple teams and technical dependencies • Experience managing teams • BS in business, marketing or related engineering field. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experience optimizing for short term execution while planning for long term technical capabilities.
