Microsoft's hardware teams incubate advanced technologies and build deep partnerships with internal research, product planning, and marketing teams. Microsoft ships tens of millions of hardware products every year, including the Xbox, Surface devices, HoloLens, accessories, and much more. Microsoft's hardware teams are also expanding into new technologies such as quantum computing! The Hardware Systems Group, based in Redmond, is seeking a Business Operations Associate to support innovative hardware projects and their teams.

Responsibilities Through forward-leaning planning, effective governance and business management, creative communications and cross-group collaboration efforts, this position will support the Hardware Systems group in meeting Objectives and Key Results through excellence in business operations. The position requires excellent communication, project management, organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work with multiple levels within Microsoft. Working efficiently and effectively, building and maintaining stellar working relationships, accommodating diverse work styles,
Basic Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products 5+ years of business support/operations in the technology industry Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Internal tools, i.e. MSS, iCIMS, SharePoint, and Teams Ability to bring insight to suboptimal flows in existing processes, and a drive to improve them over time Strong written and verbal communication skills Skills: Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to deal with ambiguity. Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
