Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. The CO+I Global Datacenter Services team is seeking a seasoned and innovative Operations Analyst with a passion for data, analytics, process improvements, helping others, technology, and operations. You would join a team that works to deliver and evolve a holistic Datacenter performance management platform for CO+I leadership to help the organization make better business decisions. By blending modern analytics capabilities with business strategy, you will help influence the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Our foundation is built upon and managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support services for more than 1 billion customers

Core Responsibilities: Collaborate and engage with SMEs and Domain experts to gain operational insights. Leverage these insights to build PowerBI-based dashboards (and related infrastructure) to solve real-world issues. Design an analytical approach and deliver research and findings using data, standard statistical models, visualizations, and effective user-centric techniques. Translate findings into succinct and actionable business insights, often in coordination with stakeholders and partners who help you tell a holistic story. Evangelize dashboard offerings, document usage scenarios and dashboard
Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience defining, building, releasing, and evangelizing PowerBI-based dashboards to influence data driven decisions with diverse leadership audiences 5+ years of experience in PowerBI, SQL, SQL Server Analysis Services, and DAX 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, analytics, and statistics Preferred Qualifications: BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field Proficient with SQL Azure, Azure Services, and Azure Data Factory C#, Python, and/or R experience Experience analyzing big data to drive business
