Amazon’s Kids and Family team is seeking an individual who is passionate about kids to be the global catalog manager for our growing FreeTime Unlimited subscription service. FreeTime Unlimited is Amazon’s established and fast-growing subscription service for kids 12 and under. Our product features digital content that kids love and parents approve and is currently available in the US, UK, Germany and Japan with catalog content in English, German, Japanese and Spanish. Our Manager of Catalog Management has global responsibility for the team that manages the FreeTime Unlimited catalog worldwide with team members in Seattle, Tokyo and Munich. We have a unique catalog of kids’ content (books, videos, apps, games, Alexa skills, Audible books, web videos) and a kid-safe browser in each country. The catalog management team helps define what we acquire for our catalog and curates the titles to ensure kid-appropriateness. They manage all day-to-day catalog operations including process automation
· 7-10 years experience in related fields such as Catalog Management, Project Management, Program Management or Digital Content · Demonstrated leadership ability · Strong problem solving skills utilizing data-driven decisions · Track record of results in prior roles · Strong oral and written communication skills · Experience managing people · Bachelor’s degree· Experience with kids digital content or kids products and services · Experience managing global team members, directly and indirectly · Experience working closely with technical teams and defining business requirements
