We are looking for a strategic data-driven marketer to join our team as the product marketing lead for Project xCloud. This is a unicorn role, an opportunity to impact and influence the future of gaming! You'll be charged with defining and executing the developer business strategy and go to market plans for Project xCloud, Microsoft's global game-streaming technology. Here, you'll partner with xCloud engineering to drive industry and competitive research, develop and evolve the xCloud business model, lead strategy and execution for go-to-market efforts, and drive alignment between Azure and xCloud organizations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: • Develop Project xCloud's core marketing and positioning within the game industry. • Establish xCloud as a market leader in global game-streaming. • Lead business strategy for Project xCloud including identifying market opportunity, key investments, and core metrics to achieve business goals. • Drive continuous improvement around our marketing materials and web properties, reviewing and optimizing against key metrics • Conduct market and competitive research, adjusting strategy to meet changing conditions. • Work with product teams to recommend product
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: • Foundational understanding of the gaming industry, associated technologies, and how the cloud can transform games and game development. • Passion for game development – This role requires you to KNOW developers and game studios and their challenges and needs related to building and running games in the cloud • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, build a team from one to many, and establish a company as a thought leader in a relatively new space. • Proven ability to analyze data, generate insights, and communicate findings. • Proven ability
