We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to support our rapidly growing Alexa business. Alexa is always getting smarter, and as a member of the Alexa legal team, you’ll help expand Alexa's knowledge and capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: · Negotiation and documentation of a variety of third party contractual relationships, including content/data licensing agreements, amendments, other services agreements, and NDAs · Working with the business on contract management and the end-to-end contracting process · Developing internal processes to track transactions from beginning to end · Coordinating with clients and outside counsel You must have excellent negotiation and communication skills as this position involves direct contact with principal business owners. In addition, you need great attention to detail, and must be able to work independently in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.
· 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department · Primary and autonomous responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts · Bachelor's degree · Previous in-house legal experience or law degree a plus · Experience with licensing · Common sense, adaptability, and exceptional judgment Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Female/Minority/Disability/Veteran/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation.
