Alexa Automotive is looking for exceptional Technical Program Manager to work on enabling Alexa – the voice controlled personal assistant behind Amazon Echo – in automobiles. The team seeks to provide seamless experiences for customers with Alexa in the car. The Amazon Alexa Auto team is looking for a Sr Technical Program Manager (PTPM) to help bring Alexa to automobiles and allow end customers to manage playing music, calling/texting and basic car operations using voice. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for new products, enthusiasm for our mission, and a talent for managing building great products. We’re working hard, having fun, and making history. The Sr. TPM role in Alexa Auto team requires working with product management, SLU, development and quality teams across Alexa ecosystem to launch Alexa automotive features. Qualifications include leading cross functional teams from design through
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field · 5+ years of experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules · 10+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or technical product management in a software applications environment· Expertise in agile software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including agile estimation and planning, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations · · Track record for managing complex technology projects
