The role requires you to be deeply technology focused and a SME of Azure technologies, especially Azure IoT, IoT Edge and App Modernization. You will be responsible for: Evangelism and Mentoring of partner technical staff Interfacing with both the partner's generalist and specialist solution architects to mentor and evangelize Azure cloud services. Promote and position yourself as Azure IoT/IoT Edge subject matter expert for your partner. Pre-Sales Solution Architecture Consultation Working with both Partner and Microsoft account teams of the high potential accounts and agree on the priority partners
10+ years enterprise technology pre-sales or consulting experience. Strong knowledge of Azure IoT, IoT Edge and PaaS Services required. Good knowledge of OSS, Containers and DevOps is desirable. Good knowledge of Cosmos DB and other No SQL technologies like Mongo DB, Cassandra, Graph DB etc. is desirable Ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architecture leveraging Azure IoT, Advanced Analytics and AI capabilities of Azure platform required. Fluent knowledge of how customers assess, purchase and manage public cloud solutions Conversant knowledge of AWS, Google, IBM cloud services
