As a CO+I Service Engineer, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As a successful Service Engineer, your performance objectives will consist of: Designing, building reliable and performant web-based solutions at enterprise grade. Support and resolve break/fix datacenter support tickets with an emphasis on Azure and diagnostic tooling Contribute to the creation of new tools that integrate data from various upstream systems from supply chain to ICM for driving down Deployment SLA. Build tools and reports to support Root cause Analysis for breached SLA during new deployments. Drive quality, standardization, and consistency in support and escalations across the worldwide
Basic Qualifications: At least three years' experience in software development (online services preferred) 3 years Scripting/automation skills Minimum of 3 years C#, C++, C, .NET or Java coding skills Able to work a flexible schedule that may include non-core business hours and weekends Available to travel as necessary to learn new platform and to support datacenters in US and internationally. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing support in mission-critical, 24x7x365 production environments Experience working on enterprise
