Amazon.com is looking for talented, driven and entrepreneurial people to focus on building our B2B product selection across the Business, Industrial, and Scientific Supplies (BISS) category. The categories included will be Professional Healthcare, Industrial Supplies, and Education. The Senior Vendor Manager position is an exciting opportunity to work in the early stages of building the the strategy for B2B business on Amazon. This individual will need to be comfortable with working directly with Vendors to negotiate for B2B relevant selection and program engagement, but also lead a series of pilot projects that will help take a critical role in building one of Amazon’s fastest growing businesses. In 2015, Amazon announced the launch of Amazon Business, a new marketplace
· Bachelor Degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience in retail or e-commerce desired · Comfort with ambigious problem solving and operating with high levels of indepdence · Buying/planning, operations, or finance background · Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools · Experience in building partnerships at senior management level · Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and vendor management experience · Experience with business analysis and expertise in Excel. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation · MBA with
