Microsoft Business Operations is looking for a Sr. Communications Manager to build and execute our strategic Communications Framework. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in working with leaders across the organization and in CSEO to develop unique communications, including social media and events that tell great stories to amplify business impact. Core Services Engineering and Operations (CSEO) is focused on Microsoft's cross-engineering and strategy, execution and planning initiatives. Core Services Engineering builds and manages the critical products and services that Microsoft runs on. Microsoft Operations makes doing business with Microsoft easy. Responsibilities Develop and manage executive communication strategy and plan for Microsoft Business Operations including an editorial plan. Manage all speaking engagements for CVP. Work closely with CVP to craft internal and external messages and brand including key business and industry messages . Drive speaker preparation, rehearsals develop final presentations, briefing documents and talking points for CVP events and field visits. Build compelling speeches, videos, emails, social media posts and other communications. Build innovative and effective presentations to reinforce key Operations messages
Basic Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required. 7 years' minimum experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Operations Preferred qualifications: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning and time management skills. A demonstrated ability to work independently, drive through ambiguity to clarity, and to solve routine problems proactively and effectively.
