and Performance Team Program Manager to
Amazon Air is seeking a highly enthusiastic, motivated, and customer facing Program Manager to be a part of the Amazon Air Carrier Management and Performance Team to innovate, manage, and create new air-related solutions that drive improved performance and efficiency. This rock star individual will partner with third party air carriers, ground handlers, and internal stakeholders on a multitude of ambiguous and challenging tasks, ultimately solving our commitment for service to our customers. The Program Manager will be responsible for the daily coordination with all Air carriers and will be the leader in driving performance improvement through deep dives, and a high bias for action. This position will develop long term solutions for performance opportunities, develop metrics for measurement, and routinely report out to leadership the status of initiatives. This PM will be the primary contact in which external and internal stakeholders will coordinate with for a multitude of projects. In
· Bachelors degree in Aviation, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field · Three years experience with vendor management or performance management · Tableau (or similar) reporting experience · Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel. Domestic travel required up to 20% of the time · Masters degree or foreign equivalency in Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management · 3 -5 years of experience in airline operations, vendor management or continuous improvement functions · 3+ years of developing or managing complex logistical
