The Amazon Go team is looking for a leader with entrepreneurial and analytical skills to lead generating, negotiating, and executing partnerships for deli, dairy, and bakery ingredient inputs into our Amazon branded fresh grab-and-go and meal kit products. This role will partner with a diverse set of functional groups to reliably deliver products to our quality and safety specifications at the right cost. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think big, dive deep, and possess a clear track record of success in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating terms and costs, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results. This role requires an individual with a passion for customers and a willingness to move fast and experiment often. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity,
· 6+ years of relevant work experience in the food industry · Excellent communication skills · Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases · Experience in sourcing of commodity products for global retailer or packaged food company · Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with key supplier stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction · Strong proficiency in Excel · A bachelor's degree · Experience in building out new programs in a retail environment · Strong understanding of the food supply chain, commodity market, regulatory
