We are looking for a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead a 2-pizza team doing full-stack development. As a technology leader to for a new strategic business initiative, you’ll provide the technical depth to define our technology architecture and roadmap, the business judgment to prioritize features and scale properly, and the project management experience to deliver software with quality and speed. You’ll enjoy the start-up tempo to deploy customer-facing features every month and the challenge to manage multiple projects in parallel (e.g. Author/Reader CX, Payments, and Reporting). · B.S. or B.E. in Computer Science or related fields · 7+ years of industry experience in software development · 5+ years experience managing a team software engineers · Proven knowledge of full life-cycle software engineering practices including coding standards, testing, source control management, and operations · Experience developing end-to-end full-stack software systems in a UNIX/Linux environment · Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems including AWS and other cloud technologies · Mobile and/or Mobile web development experiences · Payments and accounting related
