Amazon’s independent publishing service, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), empowers creators by tearing down barriers that once blocked writers from reaching readers. We are looking for a skilled software developer to join our team. You will build best-in-class user experiences for authors to publish content and get paid, and for readers to discover and enjoy the stories they like. You will also build reliable and performant systems that can scale to serve authors and readers across continents. You will gain first-hand experience building products using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and latest front-end technologies (web and mobile). You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of problems such as data store and workflow management, API design and service integration, and mobile app/web UX, while
· B.S. or B.E. in Computer Science or related fields · 3+ years of production software development or equivalent experience · Proficiency in at least one modern programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python · Strong in Computer Science fundamentals and core areas like Problem solving, Data structures, Algorithms and Complexity analysis · Experience developing end-to-end full-stack software systems · Proven track record to design, release, and support software that has been delivered to end customers · Mobile and/or Mobile web development experiences · Payments and accounting related software
