The Windows Servicing and Delivery team (WSD) is chartered to keep our billion Windows customers happily engaged and our releases reach hundreds of millions, making each one highly visible and impactful. The Service Maturity and Validation team (SMV) is responsible for partner validation of pre-release Windows updates. We run programs that enable customers and internal partners to validate the quality of Windows updates prior to release, and that enable trusted external partners and customers to do the same. These programs provide real, measurable positive impact to the Windows customer base of over 1 billion devices every month, and the organization is committed to a significant expansion of the program.
As the Security Update Validation Program (SUVP) Senior Program Manager you will be responsible for driving a technical overhaul of the SUVP program to reduce barriers to entry and operational overhead to enable new validation scenarios and an order of magnitude increase in member engagement. Other efforts in the servicing organization provide opportunities for deeper integration with SUVP in addition, enabling significantly greater agility in the ability to detect and respond. These efforts will include collaboration with internal teams across Microsoft as well as engagement with top Windows customers
