Amazon is seeking a thought leader with strong product management experience in games technology or services. This leader will research and create a proposal for a brand new whitespace endeavor. The product we are considering does not currently exist. You will conduct market research, create the product strategy and roadmap, and ultimately help build the team that will execute on the vision once approved. You’ll have the power of the AWS cloud, Twitch, Amazon Lumberyard, our Game Studios, and all of Amazon's digital and physical media publishing infrastructure available as raw material to help create experiences that millions of gamers will enjoy. The role requires in-depth understanding of customer needs, product requirements, technical designs, and operations. A successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivery in terms of features, pace, and quality, and making the correct tradeoffs among competing ends. Can you work independently to explore a new space without close guidance?
· Bachelors in technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent work experience · 5+ years of product management experience · Delivery of technology products or services in high growth environment· MBA strongly preferred · Product management in cloud technology and/or game services · Proven ability to invent, design, develop, iterate, and grow new products · Comfortable working in data-driven business environments · Exemplary written and verbal communications skills · Love video games · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical
