Amazon Corporate Communications is seeking a highly intelligent, self-motivated, and creative Senior PR Manager who will be responsible for supporting Amazon in the Community (AITC) initiatives, from our recently launched Amazon Future Engineer program to AmazonSmile to several programs addressing "Right Now" needs. The successful candidate must: · Show extraordinary high judgment, particularly in narrow time frames · Have excellent communication skills, including exemplary writing · Compose and execute yearlong proactive PR campaigns and create an effective PR strategy for Amazon's overall community efforts, including internal and external communications and owned media channels · Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges and be able to deal with ambiguity. · Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it’s outside the scope of the job · Provide strategic counsel to senior business leaders and business teams · Handle issues management ·
· Bachelor’s Degree · 10+ years of experience in Public Relations with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results · Experience executing highly successful, creative campaigns and events · Exceptional verbal and written communications skills · Excellent judgment · Collaborative team player · High ownership and commitment to delivering results · Personal interest in community affairs · Experience in the CSR field · Ability to develop creative, effective strategies using multimedia channels · Painstaking attention to detail · A knack for diplomacy and the confidence to engage and build
