The CSE Finance team has an opening for a Senior Finance Manager with proven business partnering and analytical skills to join our team in Redmond and support Corporate Functions Engineering (CFE). Corporate Functions Engineering (CFE) create the products and services to support the needs of Microsoft's legal, finance, enterprise services, human resources, learning services, and compensation organizations. Our ambition is to bring all core systems and services to a modern, compliant and productive state. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of Operating Expenses financial management and you will engage directly with business partners and Engineering leaders to plan, monitor and provide guidance on spending across the organization. To be successful with partners and portfolio leads, this Senior Finance Manager role requires a mix of strong analytical skills and process excellence abilities to provide deep business insights and guide financial decision making and execution. Key Responsibilities: Support the CFE Finance Engineering team with annual planning, target setting, project costing, budgeting, quarterly forecasting, mid-year review, bi-annual business reviews etc. Provide leadership to the business with respect to financial management, resource prioritization and allocation. Drive analytical and conceptual thinking with the business that extends beyond the numbers into strategy. Distill and translate data into meaningful information and insightful analytics for consumption at the Director and GM level. Ensure investments are aligned to key priorities and recommend
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of finance/accounting experience (financial planning and analysis, business analysis, financial modeling, controllership, internal controls or audit) Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships both internal to the team (with peers) and with stakeholders. Ambitious self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects and effectively manage priorities without an excess of direct management Strong PC skills (excellent Excel skills required, Power BI and Database skills preferred). Knowledge of Microsoft tools
