The Amazon Canada team is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed Sr. Category Merchant Manager (CMM) to help shape the future of our 3rd party marketplace, supporting the high growth and strategically important Fashion categories (clothing, shoes, and fashion accessories). The CMM role offers the unique opportunity to own a sizable portion of a fast-growing category P and L while also driving large scale, high visibility projects across a variety of internal teams. Key responsibilities include: • Category strategy and ownership: Work closely with leadership on planning and business strategy, drive best-in-class customer experience and maximize sales growth through timely analysis and action • Business Development: Work closely with selling partner Recruiting and Development teams to help recruit strategic sellers and drive growth in new categories • Selling Partner Management: Identify and lead new seller partnerships, manage large selling partners and enhance overall seller experience
· BA/BS required · 3+ years of work experience in product management, consulting, financial analysis, engineering, technology, or related field · Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations · Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results · Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills (written and verbal)· Ability to think both strategically and tactically; a relentless focus on customers · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and experience delivering multiple competing projects
