The Amazon Home Entertainment team is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed Sr. Category Merchant Manager to help shape the future of our 3rd party marketplace. This role offers the unique opportunity to own a sizable portion of a category P and L while also driving large scale, high visibility programs across a variety of internal teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a demonstrated track record of successful program management/ownership, juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines, and using data to identify and prioritize opportunities. S/he is analytical, enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has strong writing skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and influence employees at all levels of the organization. The Sr. Category Merchant Manager will have several key responsibilities within the 3rd party Marketplace business, including: · Program management: Lead a variety of projects that impact Home Entertainment and
· BA/BS degree · 6+ years of experience in buying, product management, project management, account management, financial analysis and/or marketing · Strong numerical and analytical aptitude - must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel · Experience leading cross-functional projects · Proactive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals · Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Detail-oriented· MBA preferred · SQL Proficiency
