The Global Talent Management (GTM) organization is seeking a results-oriented and inventive Technical Product Manager to drive pioneering solutions for performance management products. This role is responsible for building a cohesive and personalized platform for our ecosystem of products and processes. We are reimagining performance and talent management technologies as we use the latest in data science, natural language processing and pattern based insights to drive a high performance culture at Amazon. In this role, you will own the multi-year vision and strategy for your product and the technologies behind it while influencing senior leaders. You will help Amazonians across the globe maximize performance and career success by defining and surfacing insights to accelerate growth. Critical to success in this area will be your ability to define the underlying data architecture, algorithms, and data visualization to create a compelling and simple experience. · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering, math, or related work experience · 10+ years of product management experience working directly with design and engineering teams · Experience with software development methodologies · Quantitative background with proven ability to harness the power of large data sets · Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members · Experience defining APIs, algorithms and determining architectural approaches to products Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative
