Amazon Air is responsible for Engine, APU, and Thrust Reverser Heavy Maintenance. The Powerplant onsite Program Manager will provide program oversight from a commercial, reliability and technical standpoint for all Powerplant related shop visits. The Program Manager will ensure that all powerplant commodities are inducted into the repair process on time and will also ensure reliability initiatives and service bulletins are accomplished in accordance with Amazon’s expectations. The Program Manager will audit all financial quotes to ensure actual work performed is in line with expected expense and challenge as necessary. The Program Manager will assist with shop visit forecasting and parts sourcing to keep costs within budget expectations while also coordinating workscopes with Amazon’s air carrier partners and the contracted MROs. Driving consistent performance with metrics, improving processes and contract oversite of five or more MRO’s located in the U.S., Brazil, and Europe will be a

· Bachelor of Science Degree in business, engineering, aviation or a similar field or an Airframe and Powerplant license · Minimum of 8 Years Airline and/or equivalent experience with engine and/or APU programs at a MRO, airline, or leasing company as a Program Manager, Production Manager and/or Powerplant Engineer · Must be willing to travel up to 70% · Proven track record of positively influencing work processes and behaviors in relatively short amounts of time · Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) · Able to thrive when given high levels of autonomy and responsibility
