Amazon Air is responsible for Engine, APU, and Thrust Reverser Heavy Maintenance. The Powerplant Program Manager will provide program oversight both from a commercial and technical standpoint for all powerplant related shop visits. The Manager will ensure that Amazon Air receives maintenance services as contracted with MRO suppliers as well as develop and report out metrics on supplier performance. The Manager will also work closely with Amazon’s Air Carrier partners regarding cost responsibility, spares management, leasing execution, quote management, workscoping, and invoice audits. The Manager will assist with asset purchase research and execution. Responsibilities · Oversite of Amazon Air’s powerplant program · Manage contractual terms and conditions for engines, APU’s, and thrust reversers, handling any contractual disputes · Evaluate and manage engine, APU, and thrust reverser workscoping with carrier, onsite representatives, and suppliers · Communicate forecasted heavy maintenance

· Bachelor of Science Degree in business, engineering, aviation or a similar field or an Airframe and Powerplant license · Minimum of 8 Years Airline and/or equivalent experience with engine and/or APU programs at a MRO, airline, or leasing company as a Program Manager, Production Manager and/or Powerplant Engineer · Proven track record of positively influencing work processes and behaviors in relatively short amounts of time · Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) · Able to thrive when given high levels of autonomy and responsibility · End-to-end process management experience
