Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced, self-starting, highly-intelligent, personable, and detail-oriented AR professional to join our analyst relations (AR) team. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to drive creation and execution of core strategic AR programs for Blockchain and Database offerings from AWS as our Sr. AR Manager, Blockchain and Database. The Sr. AR Manager role is tasked with driving awareness of the rapidly expanding number of services in the AWS technology infrastructure portfolio. The AWS sr. AR Manager must be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, identifying and facing big challenges, and adjusting to sudden and frequent change. The ideal candidate is motivated by learning in a highly creative and dynamic culture where they will need to participate in the challenge of breaking new ground and redefining best practices
· 7+ years of press/analyst relations/communications/product marketing experience in the tech industry · 3+ years of AR experience directly interacting with Gartner, IDC, Forrester and other major IT industry analyst firms · Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communications/technology-related field · Excellent written and oral communications skills · Clearly understands technology and can abstract business/solution value · Team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done · Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership · Outstanding attention to detail · Able to prioritize in
