Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a driven and creative Global Customer Public Relations (PR) Manager to join its PR team, based in Seattle. The Global Customer PR Manager will be responsible for one of our most important and highly visible PR programs, which involves managing our Customer Win Press Releases program. This includes sourcing and writing AWS US customer win press releases, as well as driving PR activities and coverage around these and other AWS customer stories. This global position provides program oversight and guidance to our regional PR teams by developing tools, training, and guidance to aid them in developing regional/local press releases and media alerts, as well as reviewing and providing edits. The role will require working closely with a range of internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, business development, and our regional PR teams, to identify which customers meet the bar for our customer press releases, pitches, and other PR activities and then developing
· Bachelor’s degree · 10+ years of public relations, AR, Comms experience · Experience pitching proactive stories to technology and business publications · Current experience managing media relationships and a network of media contacts · Experience in B2B and/or technology PR
