Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a self-motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day budget and reporting operations for the Analyst Relations (AR) team. The AR team’s role is to inform thousands of analysts worldwide who are trying to understand AWS to then help their clients realize the transformation potential of cloud computing for their business. We are looking for an Operations Specialist to support the execution of operational workflows, refining and improving reporting mechanisms, streamlining internal processes, driving operational efficiencies and supporting budget management. This role is based in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities: · Support day-to-day operations of the AR program · Coordinate with multiple AWS businesses and functions, as well as third-party vendors · Create operational metrics and business, team reporting · Support budget operations through PO and contract management · Innovate with regard to data collection and analysis,
· 2+ years of relevant operations experience · 2+ years experience with event management and project management with a focus on operational excellence · Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or similar · 2+ years demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Excel, SFDC · Strong written and oral communications skills · Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action, and with an innate attention to detail · Experience working in a fast-paced and cross-functional organization · Able to prioritize in a complex environment
