The AWS Marketing Team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced community marketing manager to engage with developers worldwide, driving awareness, adoption, and advocacy of the AWS cloud. This role will sit within our AWS Developer Marketing organization, where our goal is to win the hearts and minds of developers around the world by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable developer success. One way we do this is by engaging with developers in-person via local technical communities, user groups, and community organized events. As Developer Community Manager, you will act as a liaison between our internal developer marketing and evangelism teams, and the global community of AWS users. · A Bachelor degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study. · 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing, marketing communications, community marketing, and/or digital/high-technology companies/products · Demonstrated experience in developing and executing long-term strategic roadmaps · Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across categories or other departments · Excellent written and verbal communication · Proven track record in building community engagement/advocacy programs. · A career path that demonstrates increasing
