Amazon.com seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to be a key partner for Amazon’s Sponsored Advertising business, a high-growth Advertising business with a range of product offerings for advertisers, using “pay-per-click” business model. We are looking for a top analytical mind capable of understanding our complex ecosystem of advertisers participating in a pay-per-click model– and leveraging this knowledge to help turn the flywheel of the business. As a key analytics partner, the Business Intelligence Engineer will have the opportunity to use one of the world's largest eCommerce and advertising data sets to influence the long-term evolution of our products. This role requires an individual with excellent business, communication, and technical skills, enabling collaboration with various functions, including product managers, software engineers, data scientists, as well as senior leadership. This role will also create and enhance Business Reviews decks and performance monitoring reports
· BS/MS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Operations Research, Machine Learning, Data Science etc. BS with 5 years of relevant experience or MS with 3 years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis including descriptive and inferential analysis · Fluent knowledge of relational databases (SQL) · Proven expertise at automation of data pipelines and dashboards · Experience with analytics tools such as R, Python or Scala · Experience working with very large and disparate data sets · Experience with parsing logs, in scenarios where production datasets are not ready, is a huge
