Innovation Planning team AWS Infrastructure organization
The AWS Infrastructure organization is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, Product Manager manage the DC Innovation Planning team. Hardware Engineering, Networking Engineering, and DC Design Engineering innovations are a constant and AWS data center capacity planning systems, and processes need to keep up with these innovations. In this role, you will work closely with planning, operations, engineering, and software development teams to deliver high quality and robust space and power capacity planning processes and tools. Successful candidates will be excellent people managers with a history of building high-performing teams. They will be analytical with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments and work backwards from the needs of internal and external customers to create solutions that work for upstream and downstream teams as well as data center capacity planning.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree · 8-10 years + of product management, program management, and/or capacity planning experience. · 3+ years managing direct reports · Knowledgeable in technology development best practices (such as Agile), and product management methodology. · Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management across cross-functional teams. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, willingness to roll up your sleeves. · Ability to think and
