The AWS Infrastructure organization is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, Product Manager to manage the Special Programs data center capacity planning team. The data center capacity planning team plans against the demand forecasts and ensures that equipment that arrives in AWS data centers has a space, power, cooling and network connections. Hardware Engineering, Networking Engineering, and DC Design Engineering innovations are a constant and our capacity planning systems, and processes need to keep up with these innovations. In this role, you will work closely with planning, operations, engineering, and software development teams to deliver high quality and robust space and power capacity planning processes that achieve favorable business outcomes. · 5+ years of product management, program management, and/or capacity planning experience. · Knowledgeable in technology development best practices (such as Agile), and product management methodology. · Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management across cross-functional teams.· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data (including SQL) and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom. · Dual education background - business and tech/quantitative discipline. · High attention to detail and proven
