In the Xbox Product Services team, the Data and Intelligence in Gaming team is looking for a talented engineer who is aspired to make data as the oxygen of the Gaming organization. Our team is chartered to partner with all product teams within the Gaming organization in order to achieve the mission of using advanced analytics and experimentation to create delightful experiences for our customers. In this role the engineer will be partnering closely with feature developers, program managers and data scientists to utilize petabytes of data and translate them into actionable data assets. Furthermore, the engineer will be accountable for building and operationalizing critical components and tools to ensure the data coming in and going out are at highest data quality and integrity. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS in operations, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other technical/quantitative discipline Strong proficiency in DAX, SQL, Excel, Power BI Excellent problem solving, critical thinking skills, and communication skills BI or software development experience using MS or industry technologies SSAS tabular models with large and complex datasets Optional Qualifications: Azure and big data processing tools experience highly valued Machine Learning, Data Science, and statistical modeling experience highly valued 2+ years of BI or software development experience using
