Senior Finance Manager
Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Manager in the North America Consumer FP and A team. This role will expand reporting and analysis of the North America Consumer business with an opportunity to make a significant impact on the business. Responsibility includes the Consumer businesses in the US as well as Canada and Mexico. The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership of the Consumer business, as well as retail finance controllers, operations, and supply chain teams. Responsibilities include: · Leading reporting and analysis for North America with an emphasis on driving growth. · Build and manage models to report and forecast value created by various growth programs across the Consumer organization. · Leading goal reviews, calendar and communication · Controllership of the business. · Be comfortable with details and complicated data and presenting these findings to senior management. · Build the team through hiring and providing direction
· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field. · 10+ years of relevant, progressive finance experience.· MBA preferred. · Proven track record in financial analysis and business development, preferably in a global organization with P and L and FP and A responsibility. · Experience serving as a trusted partner to their senior leadership team through short term and long term financial planning processes, confronting and overcoming challenging situations, enabling growth, and driving efficiency improvement. · A proven track record of sound decision making, taking ownership
