Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the FP and A team supporting US Hardlines, US Media, Canada, and Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity that blends an individual's desire to drive business planning and decision making with their finance acumen in support of fast growing businesses in the Consumer organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership to provide insightful reporting and analysis, decision support, and drive strategic programs in this rapidly evolving space. Primary responsibilities include: * FP and A leadership of financial reporting, crafting business narratives and analysis for senior leadership reviews, and executing financial planning cycles * Provide programmatic support to drive cost-saving and growth initiatives, lead "deep dives" to identify, scope and launch new initiatives * Lead ad hoc financial analyses and new business development opportunities * Lead and participate as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams
· BA/BS degree in business, finance, or a related field · 5+ years of relevant professional experience· MBA preferred · Highly analytical and detail oriented · Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions · Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment · Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Customer focus and professional demeanor · Strong track record of business partnership · People management experience · Experience and ability to use Essbase, Cognos, or similar tools Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative
