The Amazon Video team is seeking a digital content licensing manager within the Digital Video Store. This individual will play a critical role in the growth of the Amazon Digital Video Store, including leading licensing negotiations with major movie and TV studios for output deals. Key Responsibilities Include: · Negotiating directly with studios, networks, and independent production companies for a wide range of terms and content rights · · Developing and documenting a content acquisition strategy with a focus on selection · · Analyzing performance results and industry trends to drive improvements in acquisition strategy
· Bachelor's degree · 7 years of experience in a high volume account management, licensing, business development, or finance role. · Negotiation experience (end to end strategy development to execution)· Content licensing and/or business development experience, preferably within the entertainment industry · Knowledge of digital video landscape, including working understanding of digital video distribution technologies · Strong interest and knowledge in film and tv industry (entertainment broadly speaking) · MBA a plus · Experience with data mining tools (SQL) a plus · Proven ability to analyze
