Amazon is looking for a Senior Communications Leader to join our Global Communities Group (GCG). GCG is building communities that connect third-party partners to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing to help delight our end customer. This includes in-person events, external digital platforms, the creation of apps and awards – taken together, this will create a network of our partners that will enable them to go to the next level. Are you collaborative? Do you have excellent communication and influencing skills? Are you data-driven, with a high degree of ownership and judgement? If you have relentlessly high-standards and are interested in working hard to build a new team and program in our fast-paced, global team, we want to hear from you. You must be a strong communicator with PR, strategic communications, or program management skills and experience. This is a leadership role, reporting into the program director and ultimately managing multiple Amazon communities as the program evolves
· A bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. · 10+ years’ executive or internal communications experience, preferably at a high-growth technology company. · Familiarity and expertise with content creation tools, including blogs, wiki, video, and graphic design · Program and/or project management experience
