As a Principal AWS Accounts and Billing Consultant you will have the opportunity to shape the cloud journey of some of the largest and fastest growing customers on AWS. In this role, you will be the unified voice of customers and partners about opportunities for improvement in the accounts and billing space, leveraging data from customer service associates around the world to our AWS leadership team. You’ll engage with our customers’ Operations and Finance teams to understand their cloud adoption and cost savings strategies and collaborate with business partner and billing teams to help customers optimize their spend on AWS services. You must have a proven track record of being a self-motivated problem-solver who is comfortable working directly with customers, possess exceptional organizational skills, and thrive in a fast paced
· 6+ years of technology related consulting or experience with AWS cost accounting · 2+ of experience with the development, implementation and use of systems/tool utilized for sales billing, and cloud optimization · 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large data sets, create financial models and simplify complex data · BA/BS degree required with a preference for a finance related degree · Experience in a customer-facing role or working within a team at an enterprise to optimize AWS cloud spending Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority
