Amazon Business (AB) is seeking an experienced and results-oriented learning and development (L and D) professional to lead the AB Learning and Development team. The AB Learning and Development (L and D) team develops and delivers learner-obsessed training programs across multiple modalities including traditional instructor-led, synchronous/asynchronous eLearning and peer-to-peer sessions. As the L and D leader, you will align the team’s priorities and deliverables with the objectives of the AB go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, Professional Services) and lead a team responsible for developing and implementing the training and skill-building initiatives that will help AB’s go-to-market teams achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will also be a passionate people leader, hiring and developing a high impact team of L and D professionals. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, innovative and excel at “thinking big,” while also recognizing the need to coordinate the team’s activities

· 6+ years’ experience in an L and D, Sales Training, program management or operations roles · Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Sales or related discipline · 2+ years experience hiring and developing hiring and developing L and D teams; proven ability to lead a team of individual contributors. · Familiarity and/or experience with program management tools, content management systems, instructional design tools, and translation processes including Amazon’s Learning Management System (KNet), Playbook, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, etc. · Bias for data-driven decision-making. · Proven track
