Group Finance Manager-Financial Data Management The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team (CFP and A) is responsible for Microsoft's overall planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting of total company financial performance. The Core CFP and A is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Group Finance Manager, who has excellent organizational and leadership skills and who has a strong interest in the mechanics of Microsoft's financial data structures and financial statements to support Microsoft's management and statutory reporting The Core CFP and A team acts as the center of excellence for Microsoft finance establishing governance frameworks, providing best practices, developing training resources and conducting deep analysis on financial data and data structure issues to support management and statutory reporting. As part of the Core FP and A team, you will be chartered with ensuring MSFT has optimized processes around hierarchy structure and master data governance that spans all of traditional Microsoft businesses, and supports all types of financial reporting. You will drive transformational projects with multiple stakeholders that will have different priorities. You will also be cross trained in other aspects of Microsoft's financial structure including allocations and restatements to assist the overall Core CFP and A team, as well as to leverage when developing optimal training solutions.
7+ years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Business Analysis preferred. Experience with Financial Statement Allocations and Consolidations highly preferred. Experience with Financial Reporting both Management and Statutory Reporting. Exposure to Master Data Management, Data Stewardship or Master Data Governance preferred Experience managing and auditing data transactions a plus Bachelor's Degree required in business, or finance related focus; Master's degree a plus Highly motivated with a passion for details, controls, and discovery.
