Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manager to be key member in our AWS Sales, Marketing, and Support Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon in a newly created role. As a Finance Manager, you will work closely with business leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve the overall planning and forecasting process. You will also provide strategy support to the business partners. Primary responsibilities include: · Lead short- and long-term financial planning · Build financial models for new business concepts · Provide strategic support to key business initiatives and investment · Present financial summary and business insights to senior management and · Tighten internal controls for program spending and revenue accrual The successful candidate will have shown experiences in past
· BA/BS degree in finance, business, economics, or related field and 7+ years of relevant finance experience OR master's degree and 5+ years of relevant finance experience· An MBA or MS in Finance, Economics, or a related field · Analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills required · Advanced Excel skills · Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly-changing environment · Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload · Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning
