Operations is in a business of customer experience by fulfilling customer orders and this is a critical part of Amazon. The FP and A team is responsible for driving the annual operating plan, the forecast process, and analytical support for senior management in Operations. The financial analyst is a critical role on FP and A team as a successful candidate will have a passion for providing reporting and business support for data-driven decision making. · BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business and/or similar discipline with analytical bias · 3+ years of relevant experience in positions that require analysis · Experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using Excel advanced functions (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) · Demonstrated financial and/or analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis · Solid experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis · Highly analytical, detail oriented
