Devices Finance team Microsoft Devices! The
Come be a part of Microsoft Devices! The Devices Finance group is responsible for the Surface Devices topline revenue growth, aggressive cost management, and supporting Microsoft's growing hardware business. The Devices Finance group also manages Microsoft's hardware product supply chain which includes Surface devices and accessories, Xbox console and accessories, Surface Hub, HoloLens and PC peripherals. This role works closely with the Devices Finance team responsible for Cost of Goods and Supply Chain results. The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the Cost of Goods Budget and Forecast solution built in SAP BPC. The Finance Manager will also lead new implementations and enhancements of systems and tools used by Devices Finance to manage Cost of Goods, to enable Supply Chain partners to aggressively manage cost, and to deliver Cost of Goods, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow reporting.
Developing and improving robust reporting tools and methodologies resulting in greater understanding of revenue, pricing, planning, and new product development. Driving business impact through new tools and systems capabilities that enable Devices Finance to impact business growth, gross margin, organization efficiency, and financial controls. Working with the Devices Finance and Microsoft Systems partners to deliver new systems and tools and enhancement from initial business requirements collection, solution delivery, user acceptance, change management, and business adoption. BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related degree 5 or more years of accounting, finance, analysis, planning or controllership experience Strong partnership and collaboration skills as the role will work closely with stakeholders across numerous organizations, such as Operations Finance, Supply Chain and Product Development, Sales Finance, and business intelligence/IT teams. Experience in P and L Cost of Goods consolidated reporting; Ideal candidate will also have experience in Balance Sheet, Inventory, and Cashflow reporting Experience in or exposure to manufacturing or supply
